1Who we are
CureSee runs an AI-based vision therapy platform prescribed by eye doctors. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the "Data Fiduciary" for your personal data. This policy explains what we hold, why, and what you can do about it.
2What we collect and why
Only what therapy needs: account details (name, email, date of birth), therapy data (exercise scores and settings), and progress reports shared with your prescribing doctor. Website statistics are collected only if you agree. The consent notice lists each item, its purpose and how long we keep it.
3What we never collect
We do not ask for your location, phone contacts, photos, camera video, Aadhaar number, or anything else the therapy does not need. We do not send marketing emails.
4One purpose at a time
Data you give for one purpose is locked to that purpose. Therapy data is never used for marketing and never sold. If we want to use data for anything new, we will ask you first with a new notice.
5Children
If the patient is under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must consent, and we verify that they are an adult. For children, usage tracking, behavioural profiling and targeted advertising are switched off and cannot be turned on.
6Who we share with
Your prescribing doctor, our cloud hosting provider, and our payment processor for invoices. Each is bound by a contract to use the data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
7Your rights
By contacting our Data Protection Officer you can see all the data we hold about you, correct it, download it, withdraw any consent, erase your account, and nominate someone to act for you if you cannot. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
8If something goes wrong
If your data is ever exposed in a breach, we will tell you without delay, in plain language: what happened, which data, what we are doing about it, and what you should do. We also report it to the Data Protection Board of India.
9Complaints
Contact our Data Protection Officer. We acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve within 30 days at most; the legal limit is 90 days.
